GadCap Technical Solutions Ltd, home of CapaciSense, is proud to welcome Mr. Nicolas Billiard (PhD) in his role as Business Development Manager. Nicolas will oversee commercial operations for the CapaciSense brand, reporting directly to the GadCap Technical Director, Paul Seccombe.

Nicolas brings with him over 18 years of experience in Turbomachinery Testing in a diverse list of companies and Research Institutes, and 8 years of experience in the field of Turbomachinery Instrumentation Business Development. His expertise is both rich and unique, having earned a Diploma Course Master’s Degree in Turbomachinery from the Von Karman Institute in 2002, and a PhD in from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2006 making him a valuable addition to the GadCap team.

We are excited for the future and eagerly await the improvements that Nicolas will bring into the organisation in reaching out to customers and proactively supporting and addressing their queries. Many within the industry who know Nicolas will be assured that he will absorb his new responsibilities with the same enthusiasm and professionalism he has shown so far throughout his established career.

In these uncertain times, we would like to assure our customers and suppliers that we continue to put in place sensible measures to ensure that GadCap is well positioned to continue to support our customer and supplier base.

We remain focused on the health and welfare of all our stakeholders and our ability to continue to support these stakeholders. To that end we can inform that we are presently operating with full production and support staffing levels out of our Washington facility, but have the capability for some personnel to work from home via remote access to our systems within a secure IT environment, but we will of course monitor the situation closely and implement changes if official guidelines from the Government and health organisations dictate.

We have though limited visitor access to site and restricted staff travelling for business activity and we can facilitate any meetings by telephone and MS Teams.

If there any changes to this present stance we will communicate accordingly.

We have been part of many companies over the years. On 8 February 2019 the Power Generation and Aerospace division of nVent was split off and is now GadCap Technical Solutions Ltd.

We will be exhibiting at the ASME Turbo Expo in Phoenix, Arizona on the 18th – 20th of June 2019.

ASME Turbo Expo 2017 took place this year at the Charlotte Convention Centre in North Carolina.

We would like to take the opportunity of thanking both the organizers and visitors to our stand.

This year’s foot fall was brilliant with some very good potential opportunities from around the globe.

It was also a chance to see what else in new within the industry.

Hopefully visitors to our stand found the demonstration of CapaciSense SOLO enlightening, we really believe that by adding this unit to our blade monitoring solutions we have further expanded the possibilities for customers to take advantage of this technology.
